(Click image for larger view) This is a solid USA-made saw that has plenty of power
and has never failed a task I've thrown at it. The cast iron top is in
great shape, and the fence glides smoothly and doesn't deflect at all when
locked down. It has a 2-1/2" dust port on the blade shroud, but I've
enclosed the base with plywood (all removable) and added a 6" hose
connection at the back. The extension table has an opening for a
9-1/4-inch x 11-3/4-inch router plate. A miter track has been added near
the router opening and 6 holes were drilled at the end for mounting an
Incra LS fence system. The knee switch is a nice feature, as it allows
you to keep your hands on the wood while shutting down the saw. |
