Shop Meets

April’s shop meet was at Reuel Detweiler’s shop. Reuel lives in a mobile home so space is limiter and by necessity everything has to be organized. Reuel makes some beautiful intarsia which fits well in his limited space. We all had a good time poking around Reuel’s shop, admiring his work, talking  and eating.

Marches shop meet, was it Bob Esslinger shop.  As you remember Bob won first place and best of show at the state fair for his pi table. Even though we were 10 days late for pi Day, March 14, 3.14, give it, Bob and his wife served two delicious homemade pies. Nobody dared  to eat

.Possum stew and cobbler Around 20 people attended the shot meet at Mike Swart’s workshop last Monday. Mike came through as promised with the big pot of stew cooked on an open fire in a Dutch oven. When asked what was in it, he claimed it was Possum. He followed this up with another pot

John was nice enough to host a shop meet and provided all of us with some tasty treats, many of them from his own fruit tress in his yard.  We look forward to his next shop meet.
