December 2022 Christmas Party

After missing two years because of COVID, this year’s Christmas party was one of the best attended we have ever had. We were met at the door by Joe Mannke and two early birds that he put to work.

The handmade projects were divided up between two tables: one for the auction and the other for the spouses.

Meanwhile our host Marvin, who in addition to sharing his big beautiful house, spent half the day cooking and carving the prime rib and turkey.

I can assure you, no one went home hungry and everyone had a great time visiting and eating.

After everyone was stuffed, tickets were drawn for the spouses to select a gift. First drawn got the first choice.

Then it was time for the Grinch and his helpers to start the auction and raise lots of money for the club.

We are fortunate to have a group where everyone gets along and has a lot of fun together. If you missed the Christmas party this year, there is the spring picnic to look forward to. I hope you can make it.
